Why such price? Because 50% coins are going out in ICO on this price, that makes just other 50% to be mined but.. this will take long time. The blocks are small so if we compare other x11 coins hashrate this will mean it will be really hard to mine this and get good amounts. The whole idea of the coin is to stop dumping - no EXCL bounties, alot presold, small blocks so if you dont want miners in the end you can treat it as investment.

Now lets imagine hypotetical situation that price drops to 1 satoshi, just 30% presold instead of 50%..and i put up my KnC Neptune for sale at 10BTC price.
Now you will need to buy out all coins on the market to get this cheap machine. And by doing this - you will naturally raise it from 1  up to anywhere.

Also while we start with miners i can imagine other types of companies joining too - especially electronics or games. Sky is the limit here. The idea was well thought [i think] and should finally connect the digial currency with real things that will back up its value.
