It is funny how he chose to just pull a prank on you instead of emailing prominent people, saying that he is about to sell, causing panic and doubt.

Not outlandish to think this at all. Second guy vs first guy trying to take control of the email. Just a concocted story created by him
It feels good though, that Satoshi is around. Perhaps the project he was working on finished, some papers published and he is just trying to wake up the market for the lulz.
