We have laws in the US to be concerned with and need to know our customers to comply, we just need valid official id for large dollar purchasers for now since we trust the Pandacoin community as a whole. We do however take every reasonable precaution and do not require anything but your email for purchases of up to $100.00 which should satisfy most everyday Pandacoin users. Guys can you calm down. No fud is happening. It is comical how you behave when someone critically comments on your coin. Don't be silly, the issue was there and I, as client, was very suspicious about the price. I did have a closer look at buy panda and there are some issues I like to point out.
Who is the owner of this service?
Why there is no specific person/company mentioned who runs this?
Is it legally registered business? (I doubt)
You ask for verification, may I know for what reason?
Member verification requires a photocopy of your PASSPORT.
VIP membership in addition requires your UTILITY BILL.
Why do you ask for passport and utility bill? These are pretty confidential documents. There is no mention what you do with these documents and if you at all legally comply with the data protection and confidentiality act. Usually there is a reference on the website (I cant find it). I'm sure in order to gain this certificate you must fill a form or the the company needs to checked out - depending on the country. I don't even know where the heck you are running this website, in the US? Why did you register the domain as private? Are you concerned about something? You are dealing with ones money.
Answer here why it is not enough for you to be verified by PAYPAL - normal company that exists and is registered and widely known and complies with law in all countries it operates.

So basic AML and KYC, which is standard for any company that works with money nowadays.
I have personally purchased several times from the site and I can assure you, I received my coins very quickly, for the price indicated and without problems. I have also worked within the financial sector and see no problems with the requirements as stated considering the current state of crypto and government interest in regulating it. In fact, I applaud the operators for making a distinction between low and high volume purchases and requiring documentation for the latter. And, having been a high volume PayPal member since they went in business through my ebay seller account, I, personally, understand the accountability provided by PayPal and penalties involved in defrauding the customer or the service. There are more checks and balances in place here then meets the eye.
Once again, excellent job Pandacoin, lets continue to get the word out that crypto is getting easier and more friendly every day...
Of course everything is in order, how else could we, the dev team endorse it and promote it?
