I can't remember GM saying anywhere that they are changing to lifetime, though I wouldn't hold a grudge if they did

Although GM didn't actually say that they were, just that another forum member that said they had.
This would be the right step forward for old customers like us to get ROI and make some profit. GM should extend the contract until their maintenance fees equals payout.
