For anyone that doesn´t know:

As far as I can tell, grcooling is a form of immersion cooling, utilizing a "standard" 1-phase cooling liquid.



This is correct, we use an oil based dielectric coolant, which is much more cost effective than a two phase cooling approach. Two phase cooling fluids typically cost about $200 per gallon, while oil based liquid coolants are orders of magnitude cheaper. We can handle rack densities of over 100 KW per rack, with a cooling overhead energy use of about 3%. We can achieve this in any climate on the globe. .... So you're saying you're moving the fluid from rack to roof, cooling it to ambient and back to rack for less than 3KW per rack?
