If it has warranty left that would be a major plus and should be listed. You would need to provide the serial number
so it can be checked.
Extended AppleCare warranty was
not purchased at time of sale. That would have been $300 if I remember correctly, and it was already a lot of money. I have never had a Mac die on me so I opted out of paying extra for Apple Care.
If it is within 1 year of purchase date it can still be added. You stated it was nearly new. That means a purchase within 6 months or less.
So it is either "nearly new" and thus still eligible or its over a year old and thus it is not "nearly new".
So which way is it ?
