FYI
When people buy that expensive notebook they don't want to add the extended warranty because they see it only as a one time expense. It is really divided by three. The cost for the first year of obtaining no question asked support, and the second and third years of what it would cost to be repaired (provided not user dropped etc).
It also greatly adds to the resale value.
For example, A 18 month old notebook with a remaining 18 months of warranty is worth way more than the one without.
