Did you even read my posts? I was getting a great deal from the datacenter, and would have stayed there as long as I could if they didn't try to increase the price I was paying!

Offtopic, but how much did you pay per kW?

~10 cents/kWh, but it was not a sustainable business relationship. After speaking to the datacenter, it was obvious that their costs were significantly higher than that, so I didn't feel good about the whole arrangement and decided to leave. I was very surprised to learn that the datacenters costs were as high as they were. I would have thought they could have gotten a better deal on industrial power, but I also understand that power is only a portion of a data centers costs.

I actually did negotiate a deal with another local datacenter for ~15 cents/kwh, but decided to pass on that and sell all the hardware instead. I would have had to commit to a 1 year contract, and highly doubt that paying 15 cents/kwh will leave me in a very competitive position going forward.
