Text advertisement is a good start. But to succeed there need to be people seeing ads.
So are there any plans to allow:
1) Image ads with additional meta data like URL?
2) Running a node on your webserver and displaying selected ads on your website while getting a reward for clicks or completed contracts? I imagine an advertiser reserving xxx coins as a reward for 3rd-parties which successfully promote the ad. Each time an ad gets clicked the site owner gets i.e. 5 Craigs from this pot. This way CraigsCoin could be used worldwide as a real decentralized AD-network and not only within the investor community.

this is an interesting idea, but how to fight clickbots who will get all the coins from the pot in an instant if there's no antifraud system
Yes the clickbots will win that war.
But maybe the dev could get that information from his friends at Yandex. Or someone else. Yes, it won't be an easy task, that's why such thing doesn't exist yet. Maybe things like smart contracts of BC or similar things could be used for this.
