Well is Mars gonna be terraformed by then because whats the point of a trip to Mars? A slow death?
There are ways to live Mars without terraforming it. Getting to Mars is very huge undertaking how more for terraforming it.
The point in going to Mars is to discover new things what the rovers cannot do. With this first volunteer we will gain more knowledge/experience how to travel to other planets and how to survive on it.
