I have read somewhere in this forum that the Bitstamp owners are the richest people in Slovenia. Is that true (or somewhat close to the truth)?

That seems unlikely.

They say (Bitstamps owners themselves) that they are probably richest 20-year old Slovenians.
As for article - it's general, but with very position tone. Strange for a bank. Probably pump I agree Cheesy
