I am thinking about creating a mascot for darkcoin... sort of an animal like creature.
What are animals who are commonly associated with darkness or hiding, etc?
Bat.
Mole. (creates tunnels, etc..)
what other creatures can you think of?
While the idea of creating a mascot is great, I do not think it should go toward "darkness" and "hiding" -- Darkcoin is Private e-Cash for the future that enables our privacy and as such is POSITIVE! (hiding implies something negative, no?)
