I notice above that there are parts of the instructions on how to resynchronize my wallet that are crossed out.
Is it no longer necessary to use the bootstrap file to synch the wallet?

I had a hard drive failure but, thankfully I had a recent backup of my wallet. I am wondering what the correct way is to get back in synch
