In case anyone wants to see how tight a fit two S3's in the smaller Corsair Carbide Air 240 case.

Love the flat black look of the case.
can i ask ... what model of the FAN 120mm you replace the stock fan of ant-miner??
how about the noise and the temp performance ?
The fans are all 140mm, in front are: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B1WQ4VA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with these
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HRJ550W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1In rear I have these (these fans will probably move the most air of any fans that will fit the S3): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A460TK6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
These are quiet at idle, but I haven't mined with them yet, waiting for a D-Link 5 port switch to arrive tomorrow before I get started.
I also have a set of these in the front ready for install on the 2nd pair of S3+ when batch 10 is released (these spin faster than the others so they aren't as silent, blue blades with white LEDs): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0078IWS6Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And these in the rear (same as other set): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A460TK6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Here's another option if you're looking to shorten the S3 for a tighter fit enclosure (these seem to spin faster than the Prolimatech fans): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G8GUE74/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
These are all 140mm fans with the screw holes at the 120mm fan locations. If you want quiet, Deep Cool makes fans that should fit that are very silent also.
