That's actually a popular misconception propagated by the idiot masses, the types of idiots that believe Christopher Columbus discovered the world was round. If you bothered to look at what's written in history, you'd see for thousands of years innumerable records exist studying the movement of celestial bodies; thus along with the wide acceptance and consensus the earth was round......
