Dev, can you define blackmail? Thats a pretty strong accusation for just offering to sell you rights to our code.

The thing is it's not your code. Bitcoin is open-source and so are all forks based off of it. Just because you make some minor changes doesn't mean you can claim copyright for it.
We don't do that. Our copyright only applies to our modifications. Read the COPYING file in it.
