Let's just give the Dev time to find a replacement for Badam, the coin is not abandoned the dev is still active, just one of those things that the other dev could not invest the time needed so we need a new one, let's give them a chance.  Community takeovers are only ever really useful and make sense when a coin is dead in the water and the devs have run off.  This coin is yet to be born and the dev is still here so time will tell.
