I am also going for a claim if they dont refund me or dont answer my mails anymore.
There is no doubt that a claim would be successful because Q3 delivery is stated in their terms. They must know this and so I would find it strange if Alpha didnt at least offer 80% or sth. like that. Because else they will have to pay 100% plus court fees etc.
Unless their defence is like that there is no money bla bla because its gone into production whatever. With a CCJ however its difficult to go on with business thats clear.
Anybody an idea what happens in this case? Can they operate further? Will they be forced into bankruptcy? Would also be interesting if Alpha as an UK registered company is obliged by law to have the assets on hand in UK etc. Because if not its going to be difficult to get the money back. Would a claim against Mr. Akram in person make any difference then?
Court fees can go over £1k (incl hearing etc.) if someone ordered a big viper or even more. If there is no money to gain thats not going to be a funny thing.
