I was just going to mention this as well, I'm thinking it's possibly a 6950 or 5970, one of the two.

EDIT: From the pictures it looks like it might be a 5850.

I'm not sure whether it's a 5950 or 5970, so to play it safe I opted to sell it as the lesser model.

There's no such think as a HD5950, that's why. The 5870 was the top of the line single GPU, and the 5850 was the slightly cut down version. The 5970 was the dual die version with two full 5870 dies. So this is probably a 5850 then?
