To be completely neutral and ignore my homeland I will say this...
The US probably has the best sterility practices and the most money to throw at this issue. If it spreads uncontrolled in the US, the rest of the world is probably subject to the same.

Well, I may be prejudiced by still holding my canadian passport (just in case global warming is real and the great lakes become like Cali), but I think Canada would have more chance of this not spreading. Been in too many bars/casinos/schools etc. in the USA where the men's room really does not need that paper towel nor those sinks and soap....

Ok, I should say the US has the best MEDICAL sterility practices. You are right about population density - there are a lot less people in Canada to get infected.
