that a truer statement than many realise.. in the 2.0 realm most are not doing well bar nxt but they have their own issues. if we come out swinging with amazing tech and with a brilliant rep, there wont be much fud that can be spread. there will be many many people who move from alternate 2.0 platforms to nem seeing as it will be so far ahead of most of the rest in many areas and ahead of all of the rest in some areas. that means more developers also. like we saw with the new light weight client that was recently announced, we just dont know who is working on what behind the scenes. sooner rather than later projects are going to be popping up out of nowhere helping nem to gain an even stronger foothold in the 2.0 arena. if current pace of development continues we are going to see enormous growth in tech development, value and community involvement.

being delayed because of bugs like so many other projects is not as issue we have. nem is being delayed because of tech improvements and addition of important features - most of these being security features which is a brilliant route to take. this will only make us stronger in the long run. so i have no issue with delays because they are delays that will benefit us apposed to harm us.

because of these delays we will be able to keep our coins in cold storage and harvest safely with peace of mind. we will be able to create paper wallets. we will have a light weight client. those who have slow internet or slow computers will be able to use the remote NIS connection making NEM more accessible to people all over the world and opening the doors for easier development of mobile apps.  we will have a more secure and more efficient protocol with a much smoother one-clink install client and we have more time to prepare for launch. the nem team are making great progress behind the scenes and it will all come to light and when it does people will see that it was all worth the wait.
