Can someone recommend some competitor sites that don't allow multiple logons from 1 IP or allow multiple players to play at multiple tables together?
I agree that multiple people from the same IP address shouldn't be able to sit at the same ring game table. I think that's standard.
But in 10+ years of playing online I can't remember ever seeing a site that didn't allow you to play against the same opponent at multiple tables.
That's just what happens when you multi-table... you end up seeing some of the same people at different tables.
When its fake money, its fine. When its real money, its cheating.
Wouldn't you want to just assume these people are colluding for your own safety? It seems like a no-brainer to not play at a site for this very reason. I will wait until there is more competition.
Personally, no I don't worry about it. Sometimes I've ended up playing the same 5 people on a few different tables at the same time.
That's just what happens when everyone wants to play more than one table at a time to get more hands in.
I can understand watching for collusion... but I've never felt like I was being colluded against. And if they are they're very bad at it.
But it's your decision, if you don't feel comfortable then you shouldn't play. And if you do and suspect collusion you should report it.
I'm not sure if you'll be able to find a site you're describing though. Even real money sites like Pokerstars or regulated US sites allow people to play against eachother at multiple tables.
