You have bad people everywhere.
The problem is that some (most and from Abraham base, all of them) religions puts good people to make bad actions.
Don't get fooled by "just terrorists", Islam DOES condone with such practices. And you can count by the fingers of a single hand how many Muslims are against those violent actions...

Yet Abraham wasn't, himself, that way. Just because he was the patriarch of a whole lot of people, doesn't mean that he condoned violence.
The only records of violence that he did were the kind that we ALL should do at times. They were self-defense violence, and defense of family violence. And anyone that doesn't think he should protect his family with violence if necessary, doesn't love his family very much.
