Whenever a security goes on a short-term upswing more sellers enter the market to book profits. Maybe some have been holding for months and now want to cash in some sweet gains.

I would be happy to hold my XCP for a long time as really, the Overstock announcement is just the beginning of a burgeoning ecosystem of financial tools/services built on the platform.
