Turks have had good or at least neutral relationship with IS, they having a bad relationship with Kurds, they probably don't want to piss of IS and see them fighting on their own soil.
One more reason. Until IS fighting there nobody will build a new pipeline from Iran to Syria through the Kurdish territory in north Iraq, therefore nobody will compete with their own pipeline network .
