Hello,
I worked on the whitepaper for Karma, and was recruited by Kosmost via Odesk.
He still owns me 450 USD for hours worked.
Since I was banned from the forum after asking for the cash, and since he didn't respond here also, I decided to go public.
Good luck with this coin.
You were not banned from the forum. Not sure why you're saying this. (You are, in fact, still in the "Karma Team" group. You can verify that by having seen the Private forum for the past several weeks.)
I am still waiting for a breakdown of your hours. We agreed on a set figure of $100 per week. For some reason you decided to work far more than that (on your own accord) and expected to be paid for it.
(Do not imply that I am just ignoring you because you think I owe money for something that we did not agree on. The fact that I asked you for a breakdown on the non-contract hours should tell you that I am at least willing to consider it. We can both be reasonable about this. I even paid you in advance for a week's worth of work, twice, as a show of good faith. Really, who does that?)
We can resolve this using normal channels. But my apologies if I do not respond right away. I don't have much free time these days.
I forgot to mention the $200 bonus on top of that. Total I've paid you is $532.22 (minus odesk fees of course). Please keep in mind that the hours you are referring to were not part of the agreement.
The breakdown you provided on Jun 16 is just a list of hours (without any detail as to what those hours were, as I had asked for). They total 10.5 hours, which is equal to less than $151.62 if we go by your rate. However, we did not agree on an hourly rate because you were being paid a flat rate of $100 a week for "10-15 hours of work" a week "posting to the forum and working on a whitepaper". (And for a while you were't able to work the hours, which is understood.) If you don't have a copy of our Skype chats please let me know.
That you decided to put in more hours than we agreed would not really be my responsibility (especially as we did not discuss it beforehand). However, I am willing to work with you on it and always have been, as evidenced by my response to you when you first told me of the off-contract hours. I have not treated you unfairly or unprofessionally so please do not imply this in your posts. If anything, I have treated myself unfairly in offering to consider the surprise hours. That's simply not how I normally conduct business.
Also, by giving you a bonus and paying you in advance I thought I was doing you a favor (not many would pay 100% upfront). If I had know that you would post here unreasonably I would probably not have done so. Regardless, you are still a nice guy and I appreciate the work you have done.
But proper channels are appreciated for this sort of thing
