No one just dumps 9k without a reason. Someone knows something. If a dev team member knows something and doesn't share it but trades then it is considered insider trading which might not be illegal for crypto but it is unethical and damages the reputation when it surfaces. Just a kind reminder  

edit: unless of course this is a final attempt to drag the price down for scooping cheap coins before all the positive news about Darkcoin and Instant transactions explodes in CNN and BBC.
