my original argument had nothing to do with investing in these sites. It's the simple presence of dooglus in this thread and as an escrow provider in relation to these websites that mysterioulsy vanished. Either he's complicit, gullible, or in the wrong place at the wrong time.
My presence in any thread certainly shouldn't be seen as "endorsement". Surely that should depend on what I'm saying.
I liked dice.ninja. It worked well for the most part. The bets were very fast. Deposits and withdrawals were very fast. Etc.
I've never turned anyone down who asked me to act as escrow for them I don't think. When someone new and untrusted is willing to send coins to me to guarantee that the person(s) they're dealing with won't get ripped off, I'm happy to do that for them. I don't see how that could be seen as me "endorsing" them. In that instance I'm merely helping the advertisers make sure that they will be paid for their ads even if the site turns out to be a scam - which is what happened.
The only thing I did that could be seen as me endorsing the site was that I put an ad in my signature for their site. I wish now that I hadn't, but I trusted them. I wish there was a good dice site out there where I could feel comfortable investing my coins. I was hoping that dice.ninja would grow to become that place (just like I had previously hoped that dicebitco.in would become that place). In both cases it appears that I was suckered in by scammers. At least dicebitco.in paid me for my signature. I got nothing from the ninja ad.
I don't think it's reasonable to expect me to have known that either site was a scam before they started doing such dodgy stuff. They both looked to be well written and well run - until they weren't. I certainly don't have insider knowledge. I have nothing more to go on than anyone else when it comes to determining which sites are scams and which are legit. I'm amazed that PRC is still limping along, but what do I know?
