For me this coin is neither dying nor is it dead!
AnimeCoin is just progressing slowly forward until it unfoldes its unique form.
No volume is needed : better to develop users without speculation on the price. Animecoin is a currency : if it can be used to buy services and items (not to buy and sell other currencies), that will be a greater strength than most other coins.
Yes but right now there aren't many services that accept animecoin, and if they do accept ANI they also accept other more popular alternative cryptocurrencies undermining Animecoin. What we need are anime related services that will only accept Animecoin for cryptocurrency payments. This will make Animecoin actually useful to people. I really have no idea how to do this though.
I've noticed that it seems like most of the people here aren't really doing anything too, yet they expect Animecoin to suddenly wake up from the grave. That's not how it works in the real world.
I do agree Animecoin needs a lot of work. And this work is the responsibility of us Animecoiners: Each person who believes in Animecoin is supposed to do something within his/her reach to improve ANI.
Anyway, I have been keeping my Animecoin-qt wallet running (and solo mining) 24/7, and I always have at least 6 or 7 active connections... at least it means I am not alone
