My guess is with all the new seeds its taking a lot longer to find blocks now.  I started the day with 600 seed and have only managed to stake 4 times so far about 30 seeds worth (with between 1500 and 3000 confirmations).  Its not automatic 24 hours then you get your stake, its 24 hours then you get to compete to get a stake and its a bit sporadic.  Will be quite interesting to see the total at the end of the growth period!
