Well, I guess FC is waiting for physical sample chips in order to confirm they're working as expected. Also the Bitcoin price needs to go higher first.

Also, yesterday it hit me like a rock: Why would he advertise gen 4 hardware or tell people about an immediate release, if he's busy still selling gen 3???

Because FC and AM still have PH of gen3 gear in inventory?

Exactly. I think he could be spot on with that assumption. I guess it's still too early to expect anything solid from gen 4 - still, news would be very much appreciated - but it wouldn't be wise to boast that gen 4 is around the corner while still selling gen 3!
