I also watched this doc with my girlfriend. She doesn't use BTC, but she knows about it because I have used it for awhile. She liked the movie, and it actually gave her a better idea of how the whole system works. Setting it on a screen while hearing it explained is much better for visual learners than just hearing about it by word of mouth.
