I honestly don't know how to respond to this I have not seen this issue with not saving settings on reboot on two S2's running the Kano firmware :| This, after a couple power failures, and manual power cycles - all have come up just fine :|

Again, I'm not certain what problems you are seeing, but if I were to hazard a guess, it's P2Pool related issues ? I don't mine there, which might explain why I'm not seeing potential issues.
