But you are still putting your money on someone else's wallet. The risk is there..
Blockchain.info wallet is NOT a shared wallet. That means, no one else have control to your wallet except you. The server have no decryption key, if you forget your password and don't have the passphrase for password recovery, your BTC is gone since they have no access to your wallet.
