BTW I thought Office 2013 requires annual subscription, but I could be wrong. The last "good" Office I know of was 2007, which never needed confirmation once it was successfully installed.
You can actually activate Office 2010 and 2013 permanently with a key, no subscription required. You can buy these keys on Amazon too, or even at your local tech store.
