It could be very interesting for futur investors to know how much devs already put in there project. It could bring confidence. Devs said they put lot of money in this, is it real? If they have nothing to hide, they can say this no problem there. I challenge you to find investors to give you money for a project without asking you how much you have already put in !!

I personally was originally hired as a consultant to design the coin. Was paid going hourly rate... they also have many outside software firms and consultants.
There are top notch lawyers, security experts. not to mention the design and marketing team. lots software being custom developed, some being white labeled..lot of real skilled humans involved.
