No, it's not reasonable. I have got a few of these things (Sapphire 5830 & 5850, different fans) here from local market in Beijing, each for ¥50 (~US$8). You can find the same fans in less than half the price in Shenzhen. Just search Taobao. I am current using a water cooling solution that costs only ¥160 for my 5870s, and it works just fine. But I don't think a 5830 worths a water cooling.
Sorry, out of context. What I was hoping was that someone ELSE had taken THEIR fans off their 5830s to do water cooling, and maybe had those extra fans laying around and wanted to make me a reasonable offer to sell them to me.
As far as the local Beijing markets - I'm out of luck there, as I am in the States. I'm also in an area where the only thing CLOSE to a PC components store is a Best Buy. And I'm thinking they aren't going to have one of these in stock.
I'll probably try to retrofit someone like mc_lovin is working on... I'll post picks as well when I get something figured out.
