Funny how you complain about the high fees while simultaneously complaining about how mining doesn't pay enough....
The fees are the only thing keeping the network running, and when you compare it dollar for dollar to any other crypto, it is quite a reasonable transaction fee.
cyberpinoy: the fees are also calculated by KB size added to the block. If you input a bunch of tiny transactions, it is going to cost you, because there is a limit on the KB size per block to prevent spam attacks and chain bloat. This isn't the client's fault, its yours for not being aware how it works. This is a fairly standard function for most coins, and it is a feature that keeps the network running. BTW I will play a little violin for your lost fractions of a penny tonight.
