I spent some time in Australia and New Zealand and I'm from Canada.

Australia is expensive but the pay is better but the drawback are poisonous animals which can make it a little sketchy to go for bushwalks. A plus is that it has the best surfing in the world as well as the great barrier reef, waterfalls, rainforests, sailing, dolphins etc. and flights are really cheap (about $150 to fly Sydney to Brisbane return)

New Zealand is like the adventure capital of the world, pay is pretty shitty compared to basic costs but there are no dangerous animals and soo many things to do like louging, zorbing, skydiving, bungee jumping, exploring underground caves and rivers, hobbiton, natural hot springs and mud baths, jet boating, skiing, glacier trekking. It's a bit weird that police don't carry guns but I guess when it's so hard to get guns and drugs into the country that's its a bit overkill for police to carry anything more than tasers. Also, cheap and super delicious lamb, mmm

Canada is great depending where you live, some places up north or in alberta/manitoba can get pretty cold during the winter but has decent pay, great dining and quality restaurants and probably the best skiing and snowboarding. BC is awesome during the summer, the lakes get quite warm, great of you want to go swimming at 1 am in the morning Canada is also very multicultural and accepting no matter the color of your skin or sexual orientation.
