I may not be a Dashcoin dev, but I am a dev working with Dashcoin.  I hope this qualifies me to answer.   

Slb is working on the Minergate issue right now, and is looking into getting transactions sending properly again.  I am currently working on the GUI wallet, and have a web wallet planned for the future.
