that means if everyone loses and I win overall I would get 2.24 btc?

If you deposit 1 btc at the beginning of the game with -12% fee you will put 1.12btc total in your choice of arrow. and at the end of the round ,every 24hours ,your side win , for example the other side with 1.11bt total. and you get 1.00(your input)+0.12(the negative fee)+1.11(the loser)=2.23btc
