We need to keep track of if a miner is a free bonus or paid. For our upcoming market, we won't allow selling the free miner, and if we allow merging that would be much more complicated.
As others have already pointed out, your assumption is wrong. You can see a yellowish layer when U r logged in. But, that does not make me believe that the image is real. If it were real, Hashie could keep it for a day or more for multiple trusted members to verify it. The little less profit from BTCGuild could have been make up for with the reputation built with the verification.
Moreover, I can see, multiple sock-puppets are trying to blindly push this service, which is a BIG NO NO.
