Technically this could be a thing, but it would drain your battery super fast, and it wouldn't really be useful because of that.
Like, you know how when you use your smart phone and you are connected to the internet, or 4G your battery drains faster? Or when you're playing a game on your phone your battery drains faster? Well, staking uses your phone's CPU AND the internet connection or 4G, which means you're battery will drain HELLA fast. So, not really a useful app unfortunately.
Sure, we could build a mobile client which stakes (probably anyway), but it would kill your battery in 20 minutes, and therefore would be pretty pointless.
