Curious as to why the only options on the poll are either to wait/do nothing or to increase the block reward. Is there a reason why block reward can't stay at 10 if PoS starts sooner? Can't we cut total supply in order to reduce length of PoW phase instead? Seems like that should be a poll option.

Increasing block reward will only dilute the value of the coins that those of us who have been mining diligently have already minted. Any increase in block reward will almost certainly be met with a proportional increase in network hashrate, favoring those who start mining after increase rather than those of us who have already been mining.
