FYI namesquatting asset names doesnt make any sense, since it's just a label.
almost all ClearingHouse assets are just namesquatting. Names are important, see domain names troubles. Cybersquatting makes sense. Some labels are preferable to others. And some labels might be confused with others and should be controlled by the same entity.

Nope. There have been zero cases on Counterparty of people buying from namesquatters. It's just not important. an asset symbol can be anything and there's pretty much no chance of people getting confused simply because the real asset would be the one that gets traded. Namesquatting, IMO, is pointless.
