Does day trading mean you close all your positions before the day is over ? I hate having to go to bed with open, leveraged positions. 
Correct! I try to minimize risks by using a strategy which ends the day in 100% BTC, unless there are unusual circumstances. I also usually spend only 3-4 hours sessions trading in my personal time, since for me it is supplemental income.
