There is no substantial problem so it is alive. The only thing is nodes are very slow these days.
No substantial problem ? Really ? For you, no exchange and no active dev is not a problem ?

It doesn't matter if you're in possession of 500 kilos of pure gold bullion.... if you're also stranded in the middle of Antarctica.
Liquidity is value (unless you can eat it, wear it, live in it, etc.)... period. I can't complain because I made some decent returns on this coin, but still it's always sad when I have to completely sell out of something (even in coins with huge problems I usually keep a few thousand around just for the long shot potential), but zero markets is the one thing even an active community can't fork well. It's way easier to get a new coin listed on an exchange than to get one relisted after it's been removed.
No matter what else a coin might offer... zero liquidity=zero value.
