So if the MN ping each other to validate the same tx is being broadcast, anyone with a huge chunk of nodes can subvert InstantX. In this case, it is possible to perform a 51% attack.
The transaction lock is performed by 10 MNs selected randomly from the total. Your chances of subverting one of the MNs involved in the transaction are currently about 1 in 1200.
MNs are inherently orders of magnitude more tamper-proof then PoW.
