You are looking at the wrong file. Frequencies are set in the GUI and the file that holds these values is no longer the
/etc/config/asic-freq file, but rather the file
/usr/lib/lua/luci/model/cbi/cgminer/cgminer.lua (see this thread if you want to add to the freqs' list

pb.default = "18:218.75:1106"
pb:value("18:218.75:1106", translate("218.75M (S3 default)")
is still set to 218.75
The file may say that 218.75 is the default value, however, you definitely have 225 set as the current value.
To set the the value, do it in the GUI, ie browse to
Miner Configuration then click on
Advanced Settings. You'll see a drop-down where you can choose what value to run at then click
Save & Apply after that.
