I would not rule out that there could be enough similar thought patterns to have an impact on spot gold prices such is the sad level of critical thinking skills here on planet earth.  If so, and if it coincided with a good selling opportunity for Bitcoin (sadly, this ain't one...maybe next year sometime) then the planets would be nicely aligned for a portfolio re-adjustment.
